Nasionalberita.com – Cardi B will not be charged for her response to a concertgoer’s actions during her performance in Las Vegas last weekend. According to the police, the case has been thoroughly reviewed and subsequently closed due to insufficient evidence. Therefore, no charges will be filed against her.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police stated that the incident involved an audience member being hit by an object thrown from the stage. Although Cardi B’s name was not mentioned in the official statement, the location mentioned in the incident report matches the place where she was performing at that time.
During her performance, a video posted on social media shows an audience member throwing a drink towards the stage, splashing Cardi B while she was performing her 2018 hit “Bodak Yellow.” In response, Cardi B swiftly threw her microphone into the crowd as security guards hurried to the stage and the audience area.
In a separate video from the same concert, Cardi B and her DJ can be seen asking the crowd to “splash” them with water to alleviate the heat, but it is unclear whether this happened before or after the microphone incident.
Cardi B’s legal representatives expressed their gratitude for the prompt resolution of the matter by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
