Nasionalberita.com – After rejecting three offers from Bayern Munich, as Reported by Metro, Tottenham throws in the towel. Tottenham has repeatedly turned down Bayern Munich’s offers. That also includes the third offer worth £86 million.
However, Bayern Munich doesn’t give up that easily. Due to an ultimatum from Harry Kane to complete the transfer before the first Premier League match, Bayern Munich has prepared a fourth fantastic offer, which is £94.5 million or approximately Rp 1.8 trillion.
Signs that Tottenham is ready to let go of Kane also emerged when they didn’t include their star player in the list of players facing Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Trophy, Wednesday (9/8/2023). Tottenham lost 2-4 to Barcelona in that pre-season match.
Reports say that Tottenham has not yet reacted to the possibility of a new offer. However, from the indications present, Tottenham will surrender and accept the final offer even though it is still £5.5 million short of the £100 million target set.
Tottenham Manager, Ange Postecoglou, was asked whether Harry Kane’s absence against Barcelona signals his departure. Posteglou tried to give a diplomatic response regarding the Harry Kane rumors.
Ange Postecoglou clarified Harry Kane’s condition. He said he intentionally did not bring Kane to Barcelona.
“Is there a connection? No, but I’m sure you will connect the dots,” said Postecoglou.
“This is not about giving the players a break. I indeed didn’t give them any playing time, so why should I bring them here?” he added.
Postecoglou also stated that Harry Kane will continue to train with Tottenham.
“They will train tomorrow and train hard tomorrow. I just want to take advantage of the last two matches,” he said.
“Our pre-season is not ideal. We missed one match and had to face Roma in another match. So, we feel like we are missing one or two matches.”
Ange Postecoglou does want to play all of his players who have not had a chance to play in pre-season. Even Son Heung Min didn’t play at all when facing Barca so that other players could get playing time.
“We use the last two matches so that players can get playing time. As for the players who weren’t brought along, they will work hard tomorrow, and we’ll ‘warm up’ the players’ legs who played in this match,” he said.
Tottenham will kick off their first Premier League match against Brentford.
